This experience was GREAT!! I suggest everyone do this at least once. I do caution anyone who is claustrophobic, has mobility issues, has trouble breathing, or walking steep inclines. And please wear good shoes. You will descend 150 ft on pathways that are wet and sometimes slippery or muddy. The ascent out gets pretty steep near the end. The temperature was mild in March but I imagine it would be very hot and humid during warmer months. There are handrails. I suggest you use them. Guests are not allowed to touch anything. You can take pictures and there are several stops where you can rest while the guides talk about the caverns. You can even taste the water near the end of the tour. Get your tickets in advance and arrive at least 15 minutes before to find parking and walk to the tour area. Tours run on time every 7 minutes. It's a very well-run facility complete with 2 restaurants, gift shops, panning for gems, and a nice sized ropes course. I highly recommend this activity!!
