The Royal Palace is a set of complex buildings that serves as the royal residence of his majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni. Constructed between 1866 and 1870, the Royal Palace is a must visit location for visitors. However, it must be noted that the admission times are limited as visitors are only allowed between 8am - 11am and between 2pm - 5pm.

The Royal Palace is still the dwelling place of the King. Inside the palace's compound is the Silver Pagoda - which floor is made up of 5329 silver tiles, each weighing 1.125 kilograms - as well as a preserved Victorian house. The Royal Palace is open to visitors between 08:00 to 11:00 and then again from 14:00 to 17:00 every day except for public holidays and major religious events.
