An easy walk or bike ride to get to the Maribyrnong River. Turn left and walk into Footscray for some of Australia's best Asian cuisine. On the way you will pass the Maribyrnong River Reserve with the spectacular Heavenly Queen Temple. Or turn right and head towards the Footscray Gardens, the Edgewater Marina and Pipemakers Park.

Follow the trail upstream to rural Brimbank Park with its excellent picnic facilities through pretty valleys and paths. Or downstream to Footscray via historical bridges, Flemington Racecourse, under the Westgate Bridge and even on to the pretty village of Williamstown,renowned for its boating history and activities and restaurants . You can even hop on a ferry there which takes you up to South bank Boulevarde in the CBD Then catch a train home A great bikeride day out!

At the end of our street you come across the river trail, great for walks and can lead to some great coffee shops and places along the river
