A lovely spot for a picnic or for reading your book in the sun.
Mostly we walk through it, then follow the stock route down to the Maribyrnong River. It's a great circular walk. Turn left and walk along 100 metres. The gardens are on the left.
Before you get to the gardens you might like to stop off for a coffee at Local Folk which you will pass as you walk along Epsom Rd.

Turn left and walk into Footscray for some of Australia's best Asian cuisine. On the way you will pass the Maribyrnong River Reserve with the spectacular Heavenly Queen Temple.
Or turn right and head towards the Footscray Gardens, the Edgewater Marina and Pipemakers Park.
