Tips van locals
A beautiful beach along the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore with a stream running into Lake MI. Swim in the lake or watch for warblers and Bald Eagles!
When walking towards the beach go to the left and you'll find Otter Creek. Clear, shallow water that's really fun for kids. Stay for a sunset and have a bonfire on the beach. Fires are allowed anywhere on the beach. **Sleeping Bear Parks day pass required for parking here.
We shouldn't tell people about this insanely gorgeous beach that we don't want too many tourist at but we are telling you. Enjoy. Worth the drive from Traverse City.
