Very popular with walkers. A Social Enterprise project - so well-worth supporting! Located in ‘the old warden’s house’ at Holyhead’s *Breakwater Country Park; the site of an old quarry which supplied stone for the 1.5-mile Holyhead Breakwater/harbour wall. With stunning scenery, a backdrop of soaring cliffs, heather-clad Holyhead Mountain and an amazing variety of bird/wildlife nearby! Access to the mountain is possible via the Anglesey Coastal Footpath that runs through the park. There’s also an information centre - where you can discover more about the park’s wildlife and industrial heritage, with audio-visual/interactive displays and outdoor exhibits; including one dedicated to well-known Anglesey based Wildlife artist, Charles Tunnicliffe. Ample parking available.
