Awesome literary festival. We’ve seen the most incredible speakers - John snow the news reader, Kate tempest the spoken word artist, Robert plant from led zeppelin and a whole host of other people! Cheap events, food and music. Highly recommend. No entry fee.
The great Literacy festival which takes place every May. Great market town renowned for books and bookshops - known as book capital of the world. 26th May - 4th June 2023
