Local venue for all things creative, Summerhall is a really interesting and vibrant place to visit for a wander, a drink, a tour, show, exhibition or just to wander about. Set in the old Veterinary School which belonged to Edinburgh University, there’s also some quirky decor, artefacts and architecture to enjoy here.

Great bar and with a variety of events in the evening (film screenings and live music). Every Tuesday there is a Ceilidh- very popular and absolute beginners welcome. A traditional Scottish ceilidh is a great workout- make sure you wear flat shoes! Make time for Pickering's gin distillery as part of your visit.
