The ‘Rotonda’, i.e., roundabout, preserves a pinch of eighteenth-century Milan; everything, inside, seems to be protected as inside a casket. It consists of a large almost circular portico and was originally used as a burial place for the dead of the Ospedale Maggiore. Inside, in fact, you will find the Church of San Michele, a building with a Greek cross plan and an octagonal dome. Today the roundabout, with its green clippings isolated from traffic, has become one of the most coveted places for carrying out Milanese cultural activities, but above all a place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax on the grass with a good book. .

The Rotonda della Besana (also known as Rotonda di Via Besana or Complesso di San Michele ai Nuovi Sepolcri, and originally as Foppone della Ca' Granda) is a late baroque building complex.

lovely enclosed park with a caffe restaurant inside. good for children and families (dogs are not allowed)
