Great beach for young kids, fine white sand, the surf is calm they have a playground and pavilion with food and gift concessions, outdoor showers and naturalist area. Parking: Daily $12, Weekend $14. Approx. 40min drive.

Down in Galilee there are two state beaches - the other is Salty Brine. Both very protected and calm. Popular with families and great for young kids.

27 acres of white soft sand beach with views of the Harbor of Refuge and Block Island. It has picnic facilities, a playground, restrooms, showers, concession stands, and lifeguards on duty in summer. Inside the breakwater at the Harbor of Refuge with little surf.
