Havana Cathedral is one of eleven Catholic cathedrals on the island. It is located in the Plaza de la Catedral on Calle Empedrado, between San Ignacio y Mercaderes, Habana Vieja. The thirty by forty nine meter rectangular church serves as the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Cristobal de la Habana.

Address: Empedrado No.156, Habana Vieja. Description: A beautiful church from 1700 designated by UNESCO a World Heritaged in 1982. The façade is an excellent example of Cuban Gothic, with the asymmetrical towers, the main altar and the bell towers. Recommended to get in and enjoy the paintings and frescoes. The church got a tower.. If possible climb up to enjoy a fantastic view of old Havana.
