The village of Santillana del Mar is located on the western coast of Cantabria, bordering the Bay of Biscay. This medieval village of cobbled streets has a remarkable degree of conservation, where the visitor can be easily transported to other times, and is declared as a Historic Artistic Site. Many of its palace houses now house cultural institutions. This small municipality is one of the most important tourist attractions in the region, as it houses the Altamira Cave, considered the "Sistine Chapel" of Quaternary art.

No se puede pasar por el norte de España sin conocer las calles empedradas de Santillana, uno de los pueblos mas bonitos de España, además tienen las Cuevas de Altamira, el zoo privado mas importante de España, museos, restaurantes, todo el pueblo es un gran atractivo
