Super gezellige buurt met iedere ochtend een vlooienmarkt op het Vossenplein. De markt is zeker de moeite maar ook de verschillende vintage winkels, tweedehands shops en cafeetjes rond het plein zijn een bezoekje waard. La Brocante is hier één van mijn favoriete adresjes met lekkere biertjes en heerlijke broodjes! Super cozy neighborhood with a daily flea market at the Vossenplein. The market is worth a visit but also the various vintage stores, second-hand shops, and cafes around the square are worth visiting. La Brocante is one of my favorite places here with tasty beers and the sandwiches are delicious!

Wil je proeven van het authentieke, rustieke Brussel, winkels met alternatieve mode, platen, smalle straatjes. Rondom het centraal gelegen Vossenplein, waar dagelijks een vlooienmarkt is. Een zwoele nacht doorbrengen in de hippe technoclubs, trendy kroegen. Breng een bezoekje aan de Marollenwijk. Kortom Bruxelles ma belle.

If you’re a typical tourist visiting Brussels, you will not want to stay in Les Marolles. If you’re a traveler who is less interested in seeing how the European elite live and more interested in exploring the city like a local, you should consider Les Marolles. This residential neighborhood has a lot to offer travelers looking to live like locals. This diverse neighborhood is a mix of French and Flemish, but has welcomed many waves of immigrants, including those from Spain, North Africa, Turkey and Syria. In addition to its diversity, the neighborhood is famous for its daily Vieux Marché, or flea market, at the place Jeu de Balle, where clothes, antiques and more are sold. A neighborhood rapidly undergoing gentrification, this once working class neighborhood is now sprawling with cafés, markets, bars and restaurants for travelers to explore.
