Monarch has been pushing sugar on Acland since 1934 and the recipes haven't changed since day one. Try the chocolate, savoury-sweet Kugelhoupf. It's a yeast-based cake (cake taste, bread texture) with thick swirls of melted chocolate throughout.

Monarch Cakes has been baking from the same recipes for over 80 years, handed down through generations from Austria, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and France. It's hard to go past the Koogglhoupf or the custard vanilla...
