Teaism (Asian Fusion) Restaurant features my favorite Bento-box themed lunches in a tranquil atmosphere that embodies all the elements of water, fire, earth with intricacies of flora and fauna that come together in this multi-level dining experience of the senses without overwhelming the palate rather allowing the visitors of this world to enter and embrace a space where they can fade into the backdrop of Serenity itself (natural light piercing thru the dark with Shadows and a nice Koi Pond, while simply steeping tea leaves. It is one of my happy places and I hope you will try something new. By the way, they offer a nice selection of beer... How can you pass up Miso dressing drizzled on salad and beer? For the Bento box chose, Tofu, Beef, Chicken and Salmon. Take an oatmeal cookie To go or use your favorite app for curb-side pickup or grocery delivery.

Go here for tea, breakfast. lunch or dinner if you are downtown sightseeing. It is an informal self-service asian inspired cafe that will provide you with consistently good, budget friendly, healthy, Asian-inspired food. It's an oasis in the sea of (often very good but) very pricey restaurants in the neighborhood and a perfect stop for a bit before or after visiting the Mall. Go downstairs and sit by the Koi Pond or sit upstairs by the windows and watch the world go by. The French toast, Chicken Bento, the Iced Matcha Green Tea, and the spicy hot Chai are standouts but really, everything is good.

Inexpensive breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, desserts, gifts and teas. Check out the koi pond in the basement too. Great before or after the National Mall.
