Idaho Falls' largest and oldest park, containing the Zoo, ball diamonds, ice arena, tennis courts, playgrounds - including one that is especially accessible. There is a lot of green space with plenty of places to gather. Picnic shelters can be reserved through the City Parks and Recreation Dept.

Tautphaus Park is a huge park in the center of the city. It is connected to the zoo, and home to many activities throughout the year. You will find fairs, car shows, community classes, and even a winter ice skating and cross country skiing trails. There are lots of play equipment for kids here. There are also dozens (literally dozens) of small parks scattered throughout Idaho Falls. It’s easy to find some green grass and shade around here.
