Its no secret but its hardly ever crowded because it seems steeper than it is. You get to the tide pools by taking the Makapuu Ligthhouse Trail. Before you get to the top, there's a trail on the right that takes you down to the water for a quick dip. Ask me for better directions so you don't get lost.

Go to Makapu'u to see the sunrise, then head down to the tidepools for a nice swim with the fish. Like swimming in an aquarium.
