Great eating at CBD Provisions, great coffee at The Weekend Coffee Bar, wonderful boutiques (Ten over Six, Comme de Garcon Play, Traffic LA), nice place to relax, book shop, late night bar.

The Joule Hotel lobby is a great place to people watch and work! Free wifi in a great atmosphere.

This hotel on Main Street in Dallas is not just a hip and trendy scene with good restaurants. (Americano and CBD, both great for breakfast and lunch. I love it for the Millard Sheets mosaic collection rescued from a Dallas bank about to be demolished. They're installed in the hotel lobby and ballroom levels. Nice small lobby bar and an Illy coffee shop in the lobby. Fantastic Taschen bookstore, too.
