A short walk to Little Tokyo, Marugame Monzo has some of the best udon you can find in the US. Made fresh daily in-house.

Although ramen seems to be the new 'it' food, udon is slowly creeping up and Monzo is THE place to eat it. They offer traditional & specialty versions of it -all super yummy! My rec: Uni Udon.

Love! Tiny udon restaurant in Little Tokyo. They make fresh noodles behind a glass window for you to see. Cold udon, creamy sea urchin udon, scallop carpaccio. There is usually a wait after 6pm. Lunch
