For a longer walk (2/3 hours), which takes in beautiful Godolphin Hill – Head down the track, turn left to the ponds, then right at the three-way fork, up the hill, past the engine house, past the barns on your right, through the field, then turn left on the road until you get to Rocky Lane on your right. Go up Rocky Lane onto Godolphin Hill. You can just explore the hill or drop down to the estate, where there are nice gardens and Godolphin House. Come back along the road and either go the way you came through the field and past the barns or drop down through Trescowe village.
