An easy scenic walk along the southern coast. There is also a beach area with tables and a heritage house. Telegrafbukta bus stop right in front, take #33 there and #34 back. It's also not too much a walk to get there. Note: It can get windy.
Its only 10 min drive or 20 min by bus ( route 33 from town or «Bjørnstrand»).There is a path from the beach along the shore. You can bring some wood and make a fire here at several places. Close toTromsø museum. It’s also a good place to spot the northern lights when its dark.
In Norwegian language, this place is called «Telegrafbukta». Here you can have a nice walk along the seaside. In the summer, you can also sunbathe or have a picknic here when the weather is good. On friday afternoons during the winter season, you may see som local people having an ice bath...

The Telegraph Bay is a beach and a popular park area on the southwest tip of Tromsøya in Tromsø. The place is ironically referred to as "Tromsø Gran Canaria". In the summer, the beach sometimes boasts double-digit bathing temperature. The park is located near the Tromsø Museum.
