The Durham outpost of this Asheville, NC, based brewery features their set of rotating taps, lawn and indoor floor games and several sets of tables to socialize and/or watch a game on their big-screen in the Golden Belt development east of downtown. Several galleries and art spaces are within the same complex if you visit during opening hours.

The closest place to get a drink just also happens to be one of the best breweries in town! Situated at the golden belt complex about 10-15min walk west on Taylor street (depending upon how fast you walk) or a 3 min car drive, this spot has amazing beers, in your typical giant warehouse atmosphere. From drag brunches to trivia to plant swaps, there is always something happening here too! My favorite night to go is Tuesday where their flagship brews are $3 a pint all night. During the day the place is child friendly.

This former tobacco manufacturing warehouse (Golden Belt) has been converted into an open-air, industrial hipster hangout. I love the logo and tee-shirts. I am a big fan of the Dortmunder Lager as well as the Thursday night beer run at 7pm year-round that stops halfway on a 4-mile jaunt at Glass Jug.
