Real ale.. NO MEALS. Some snacks. No children or pets allowed in the bar area. There is a lounge area that children can go into. An example of a traditional Pembrokeshire pub, right on the tidal River. Faces West so lovely sunsets. Large Quay with tables and chairs opposite. Steve is the friendly landlord. If the tide is in then paddle-boarding or kayaking on the river is a treat. Or just sit and watch the setting sun. If you don't have equipment with you, a number of local companies can organise river trips for you. It's tidal so look up the tide heights and times. At low tide, stepping stones at will allow you to cross the river and explore the old ruins opposite. The stepping stones can be slippery, so please be careful, and make sure you watch out for the incoming tide. The old Quay with tables and chairs is part of the pub grounds. Built to take the anthracite coal, and lime out via the 22 miles of Milford Haven waterway. In the Summer it can be host to large numbers of vintage cars, or motorbikes as the Landlord allows charities to put on regular Wednesday evening events, and there's normally a BBQ on the Quay. While you are in the area, the village and Quay at Lawrenny is well worth a visit. Or visit Blackpool Mill for some scrumptious food. Carew Tidal mill is interesting, with a lovely circular walk and amazing views of Carew Castle.

Our own Estate pub. A traditional rural drinking pub. Outdoor “street” food in the summer months, but check before going if looking for food. Very busy in the summer. Welcoming and a unique location and atmosphere. Very much recommended!

The iconic Cresselly Arms is a short drive from Nash. Very much an old fashioned drinking pub in an amazing setting on the Cresswell River. Very busy in summer months but comes very recommended .

Traditional drinking pub serving a variety of ales and the walls are covered in interesting historic photos. Regularly holds barbecues next to the river. Lovely location!
