The Botanical Garden was founded in 1984 by the Mountain Community of the Garfagnana and hosts the most significant species of the Orecchiella Park. The numerous and short paths that wind through it cover the different sectors in which the Garden is divided. The visit, in addition to the observation of the many plant species present here, has the meaning of a small naturalistic excursion that touches the most typical environments of the Apennine Garfagnana: we pass from the Apennine moors to the peat bogs and from the macereti and cliffs calcareous to the mountain pastures.
