Deze plek is zo mooi en romantisch! Je kunt genieten van het kijken naar de zwanen en eenden die duiken, een wandeling maken in het Begijnhof en daar het museum bezoeken. De cadeauwinkel is zo groot! This place is so beautiful and romantic! You can enjoy watching the swans and the ducks taking dives, take a walk inside the Beguinage and visit the museum there. The gift shop is also very big! Dieser Ort ist so schön und romantisch! Sie können Schwäne und Enten beim Tauchen beobachten, einen Spaziergang im Beginenhof machen und dort das Museum besuchen. Der Souvenirladen ist auch sehr groß!

The 'Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaarde' with its white-coloured house fronts and tranquil convent garden was founded in 1245. This little piece of world heritage was once the home of emancipated lay-women who led a pious life. Today the beguinage is inhabited by nuns of the Order of St. Benedict and local women. In the Beguine's house museum you can still get a good idea of what day-to-day life was like in the 17th century. Outside you'll find the biggest gathering spot of swans in Bruges, horses and carriages, and a bunch of cafe/restuarants with a good view.

Founded in 1245 by the Countess of Fland. This is where a group of women that lived like nuns although didn't make the same vows, lived. Today the small 'town' is a series of houses that is serene.
