Just over the border, in Derbyshire, sits the Peacock, a lovely pub nestled in the Moors. The Peacock serves excellent food and has a nice calm ambiance.

For a pub a little further afield the Peacock is a chain bar but I really like it. Its on the way from the peak district to Sheffield of the A621.
