On the west side of Nijo station (二条駅) , go up the elevator to find yourself at TOHO Cinemas! That's right, movies! Please note that most movies that were made in English will just have Japanese subtitles on them so no worries there. Just be careful about watching Japanese movies as there are no English subtitles in sight! Please talk with the staff for further details.

Just a quick update – finally got around to seeing The Hobbit, and had to shell out a nice chunk of change to see it in 3D – and in Japan. The total was 2200円
