An old building in the city centre with an interesting history, stunning interior, good restaurant and interesting exhibitions. Built by a famous architect Berlage. The place where the present Dutch king Willem Alexander got married to Maxima!

The old stock exchange, now cafe's and restaurants. Perfect spot in the centre (and great architecture, Berlage was the most important city planner of Amsterdam)

The cafe/restaurant in the Beurs van Berlage is really incredibly beautiful. The building, formerly a stock exchange, was designed by one of the great Dutch architects of the early 20th century, Hendrik Petrus Berlage, and is in the list of the 1000 most important buildings of the Union Internationale des Architectes. Have coffee here after wandering around the neighborhood surrounded by gorgeous tile tableaux representing the past, the present and the future by Jan Toorop.. There are changing exhibitions and concerts in the stock exchange halls, well worth a visit !!
