If you take the trip up Sandviksfjellet, to Stoltzekleiven , you get a panoramic view of Bergen. Stoltzekleiven is made up of stone stairs with about 800 steps, and is a demanding walk. If you want a real challenge, you can try to beat the record time at the very top: 7 minutes and 46 seconds!

Steep stairs of 908 steps. Very tough, but is doable in 20 minutes. Beautiful view of Bergen and surrounding area.

Stoltzekleiven is one of the most popular trails in Bergen. Approx 722 steps from start to the top of Sandviksfjellet. Remember to bring water to drink on your way. From Sandviksfjellet you can alsow walk on trails to mount Fløien and take the funicular down. Very Norwegian to go hiking - This is my favorite, but of course you have to have good shoes and the weather should be nice if you choose this one. Not recommended if there is fog and lot of rain.
