Quaint, authentic, unpretentious and serene. I believe that sums up. Just make sure you have an appointment before heading there. Sue moved to this area in the 80s and bought the estate. She runs it alongside her beautiful dog-companion and a small team of dedicated helpers. If they Poco a Poco, get a bottle! They only make so many of them.

Winery just up the road. Appointments are necessary. Biodynamic, one of the pioneers in the field. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite wineries in Sonoma County. I recommend this to people who take wine seriously. They offer free tours with the idea that visitors will be purchasing wine.

Only a ten minute drive away, this family-run winery offers a $15 tasting (free if you purchase a bottle) in a picturesque outdoor setting overlooking the vines.
