Château de Prouzel - Privately-owned castle currently in the hands of the mayor of Prouzel, descendent of original owner in late 1800's, who also farms one of the rarer sort of potatoe famous in Michelin restaurants throughout France. Main building built between 1669 and 1700, other buildings between 1760 and 1785. Beautiful view of the Valley of the Selle from the rear gardens. Free tours of the gardens from 14 July through 3 September between 10 am - noon and 2 pm - 5 pm.
