The Red Lodge is the only building in Bristol with 3 original Elizabethan oak rooms, plus a painting of Her Majesty! The ground floor has light and airy Georgian rooms with charming Delft tiled fireplaces. The stunning Knot Garden outside is inspired by the plasterwork in the main bedroom. Watch out for the 40ft well that was hidden until 2000, and Philanthropist Mary Carpenter's good work for fallen women.
