Voted #1 fish fry and rural bar in La Crosse County. Red Pines offers a delicious menu including daily specials. There is live music on Saturday nights and year round outdoor seating.

Located on Lake Onalaska, they have spread out tables throughout their property to accommodate for social distancing. Known for their Friday Night fish fry and a favorite of Barb and Bill, your neighbors to the South of Stone’s Throw Cottage. There is a caution on their Facebook page that if you don’t order ahead online that there could be a wait of over an hour for food. They do though offer an express drive-thru fish fry, and it is in a beautiful location, perfect to enjoy a couple drinks while waiting for food. About a 25 minute drive from Stone’s Throw Cottage

This place has a cabin feel to it. Big bar and live music on the weekends. Its down on the prairie on Lake Onalaska. A boat launch is off the bank. You can see fisherman going through. They also have sand volleyball courts.
