This lookout is accessed by a road that is best attempted in an AWD or 4WD, it can get a bit rough after rains or in very dry weather... it has been closed for much of 2020 but I believe is open again after necessary extensive post-bushfire work. The lookout may be accessed from the road which goes very close to the top via the 12 mile road, or alternatively from the picnic area below and a fun 5 minute climb up between the rocks. There is even a plaque advising some history on a tin mine which was situated just near the falls many years ago... a very strange location, one might think!
