If you are not familiar with the Family Dollar, let me fill you in. They have a little bit of everything. From clothes to milk or beach items to radios, Family Dollar has it. It reminds me of an upscale dollar store.

Meadview does not have a grocery store, however there is a Family Dollar, and Gas and Grub where you can get staples and some frozen food, milk, eggs and dairy. There are 2 places to eat in town. The Boathouse has good food and Anchor Smokehouse has pizza, most nights a buffet and smoked meats. They are both good.
