Bring a bag of bird seed with you! The abundant birdlife in this park will come and eat the seed right out of your hand - don't worry, they are all very small. Great for children to interact with nature. No dogs allowed in the park.

Beautiful trails that lead to a wonderful beach on Peconic Bay. If you have birdfood, the chickadees will eat from your hand.

More than just a National Park, or a hiking trail, you can feed the birds right from the palm of your hand (bring seed!) and end up on the beach of the beautiful bay side of the South Fork.
