La Latina is a unique neighbourhood. You never have to go into a supermarket if you don't want to and know where to go to buy all your essentials. Mercado de la Cebada is a few minutes away and has brilliant food and wine stalls, fresh fruit, fish, meat, wine, and a great atmosphere. On the weekends there are often parties going on in the day, with people standing at the stalls drinking and eating.
