Tailor in East Nashville adjacent Germantown is another dandy of a restaurant featured on Bon Appetit's 2019 list of top 50 new restaurants AND made it to #7 on their coveted narrowed down "Hot 10" list. I am super anxious to try this one out!!! Tailor was described as a restaurant "where Gujarat meets the Deep South — in dinner party form." Tailor Chef Vivek Surti, a first generation Indian-American, leans heavily on foods from India's western state of Gujarat. Surti likes to call his food "South Asian American." Nom. Nom. Nom.

Prefix meal. Two seatings per evening at 6 or 8:30. Must call ahead for reservations. Very intimate atmosphere. The chef is incredible!
