One of the latest additions to Snug Cove, the Bowen Islands Arts Council is a gallery featuring local artists of all mediums. Exceptional work has been coming out Bowen and it's well worth visiting as new shows come out.

The Hearth gallery features talented local artists in a lovely setting - bowen island has the highest number of artists per capita in Canada.

The arts Council has moved! The new gallery and performance space, the 'Cove Commons', is now right in Snug Cove and joined to the library. Check out their web site for up to date events of every artistic description. The Bowen Island Arts Council Gallery hosts visual art displays, live events of a musical nature, workshops, etc., which you can find by going by googling BIAC and going to their events calendar.

Starting February 2018 the gallery has its own building attached to the library in the heart of The Cove. Rotating exhibitions showcase the best of Bowen's Artists. Also this is the place to find art cards, books from local poets, novelists, and cartoonists, and cds from Bowen's musicians.
