At the top of a gentle hill in the Englischer Garten stands the heavily photographed Monopteros (1838), a small Greek temple built by 19th-century star architect, Leo von Klenze. From here you can admire the view of the Munich skyline, which is particularly attractive at sunset.

a hill, with some weird temple on it and a nice view over the English Garden and the tops of the churches

Enjoy your epic view over the church spires or get lucky to observe some new freestyle musicians at the weekend.

You should climb this small hill in the English Garden in the evening / night. You can see all the lightened towers of the city. Very romantic place :-)
