Very nice open air museum. It is free to walk around the area, you only pay if you hire a guide. Make sure you walk up to the pavilion in Reknesparken, wonderful view of the city, the mountains and the fjord.

Nytt, spektakulært museumsbygg med skiftende og faste utstillinger. Bl.a. er den tyske kunstneren Kurt Schwitters hytte fra hans opphold på Hjertøya rekonstruert.Det finnes også en stor samling av Gunnar Haukebø-bilder. Museet har en fin kafé og museumsbutikk.
