Situated in the leafy surrounds of the High Constantia centre, Greens is one of those restaurants that has a pleasantly relaxed ambience, despite a steady flow of customers throughout the day. The décor is contemporary with the emphasis on natural materials such as wood and stone, and a collection of sepia-toned prints harmonizes perfectly with the under-stated interior. A small lounge area provides additional seating for enjoying a freshly brewed cup of Lavazza imported Italian coffee or perhaps a pre-dinner drink. The open-plan kitchen affords diners a close up view of "kitchen theatre" and ensures excellent standards of food preparation.

In order to make this journey, travellers had to cross the mountain pass, now known as Constantia Neck.
