These beautiful mountains have miles and miles of trails and camping places. It is lush and green, with plenty of rivers for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or just cooling off. And in it is a large part of the famous Appalachian Trail that extends from Georgia to Maine! Within the mountains you'll see old churches, cabins, mills, graveyards, and other historic sites over a century old.
You'll also find on the outskirts of the Smoky Mts. many shops, restaurants, museums and fun activities for all! Try your hand at Putt-Putt Golf!
