Hiking/Biking

More of a family-oriented bike ride or hike than are Arrowhead or Wolf Creek Park
Leads you from Mae’s Park place to trails through the New River Gorge National Recreation Area, including Cunard-Thurmond and Arrowhead. Although the NPS covered up with brush the former trails of local coal miners (to make the hiking easier), these were the woods and hills traversed to get to work on foot.
