Great hike about 7miles round trip. There is no marker at the top of Plateau MT, but about 2 miles in you will be rewarded with beautiful views. Part of the Devil's path but not too difficult.
Parking lot by Notch Lake has great picnic area.

Very popular hike and waterfalls. Get there early to get parking. Parking along the road is illegal and you will get a fine. only 1.5 miles to the falls, it can be extended into loop. Best visited in a spring when there is a lot of water, or fall for views and colors.

Diamond Notch Falls via Diamond Notch Road is a 4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Lanesville, Beautiful waterfall and swim hole. Easy hiking that can be extended to many trails that veer off at the cross section.

Great and easy 5 mile loop, not far from the house. Very relaxing hike. No major views because it's in a forest, but good hike and beautiful drive through Milbrook. Very quiet and not busy at all.

Cute little town with few options to eat, have a coffee, get great (but expensive) sourdough, pick up fresh eggs on the way here. In the summer Wayside Cider as well as Andes Hotel host live music events.

voted America's cutest town (cute but not that cute), located amidst great hiking so worth checking out. Famous Sweet Sues and Phoenicia Diner are great breakfast/brunch options.
