About 30 minutes away. Great hike with lots to see at the top including a fire tower and the secret ruins of the Overlook Hotel.

The Overlook Mountain Spur trail is a moderate/challenging hike, 2.4 miles each way. You'll pass an interesting hotel relic from back in the day, and at the top there's a historic fire tower you can climb up to take in the view. For a less challenging hike at Overlook Mtn, The Meads Meadow Trail and Overloop Trail offer short family friendly style hikes.

A somewhat quick but steep 2.5 mile hike to the top of this local favorite hike - also along the way see the abandoned ruins of the old Overlook Mountain House, an amazing fire tower and lookout point at the top but beware of the rattle snakes and bears!
