Tips van locals
A must-do for a lot of folks. Just be aware the cruise leaves from Barnstable, not Hyannis! Dock is on the north side of the peninsula, so leave enough travel time.
A must do activity while on the Cape! Cruise through calm waters of Cape Cod Bay on the way to Provincetown to see whales emerging from the bay. A must do activity!
Enjoy scenic views of the shore including Sandy Neck on the way out to the whale feeding grounds. The ride may be too long for little kids. Snacks served on board and the boat is very clean.

“In 1950, the Cape Cod Music Circus (now the Cape Cod Melody Tent) became the third musical tent to open in the US. For over 60 years, the Cape Cod Melody Tent has been presenting world-class entertainment in scenic Hyannis. One of only two continuously-operated tent theatres in the round in the United States, the Melody Tent is owned and operated by the South Shore Playhouse Associates, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting the arts, cultural and educational organizations throughout the communities of the South Shore and Cape Cod.”

“Cape Cod Duckmobiles are the only land and sea tours to use both the original amphibious DUKW from world war two and the amphibious Larc from the Vietnam War. Learn and explore Hyannis by land then ride into the ocean for a harbor tour as well. Kids love it. ”
