If you can't get enough of Stately homes, here is another nearby. Nothing like as grand as Waddesdon Manor.

A smaller National Trust property - home of the Verney family with connections to Florence Nightingale. A less commercial experience than Waddesdon Manor. Has a nice coffee shop and restaurant.

A National Trust home of Sir Harry Verney, who married Florence Nightingales sister, after his first wife died. Enjoy gardens, shops, a cafe and eighteenth-century English interiors in an idyllic country setting
