This rustic restaurant lies hidden away down a quiet cobbled lane in Uccle commune, south of the city centre. Too hidden, it turns out, for our taxi driver, who ends up hopelessly lost. Most of the people who eat here are locals who come on foot, so the place is still something of a secret. You can dine in the nostalgic bistro interior or outside on the terrace when the weather allows. The €30 menu is fantastic value for Brussels, although you might have to factor in an astronomical taxi fare.
