Tips van locals
Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta, and the Legislature Building houses the provincial government. The grounds there host many festivals and gatherings and are lovely to walk around and enjoy. Right across the street from Auntie Allison's Airbnb!
Beautiful area to walk around, next to the river valley, and learn Alberta’s history.
Grass, gardens, fountains the kids swim in and normally something festival going on not too far away.
Democracy system in action! Open for tours. Stately grounds - flower beds, water fountain/wading pool, skating rink and outdoor performance amphitheatre.
